As a small business, we thrive on the support that comes from our community. Most of the time, that support comes from sales, but it also comes in the form of following and sharing on social media, from good reviews on Google, or just kind words as you're hanging out in the shop. We want to make sure that everyone who comes in our door feels welcome. Supporting the people and places that support us is at the core of what we do, and giving back to our community isn’t just an option; it’s a responsibility.
To make that happen, starting on January 20th, 2025, we'll be donating 20% of letterpress revenue to a different nonprofit each month. Sometimes we may donate to someone we've given to in the past, sometimes we may keep the same nonprofit. We're not really sure how we'll do the "picking," other than making sure that their values and missions align with our own. The one thing you can be sure of: we'll keep track and update our website each month with how much we donated and where it went.
We'd also like to stay accountable: as we grow, we'll work to maintain transparency and seek input from you, our customers and community, to ensure we're staying true to our word. At the end of February we'll be donating 20% of of letterpress revenue to The Trevor Project. Check back in at the beginning of March to see how much!
