Hello, and happy spring!
Here's a quick recap from our last blog post about our give back program! Between January 20th, and March 1st, we pledged to donate 20% of revenue from the sales of our newly launched line of stationery to a different nonprofit organization each month. For our first month, we chose The Trevor Project, a group dedicated to supporting queer youth through crisis intervention and suicide prevention. It's important to us that everyone knows they are valued, and especially during a time that queer identities are being erased and hidden.
Here's a quick breakdown of our donation:
- Total cards/postcards sold: 54
- Total revenue: $321.46
- Total amount donated by Dandy Roll: $66.85 (including DR covering the transaction fees)
What's even more exciting is that The Atwood Foundation is currently matching donations 3x over! That means $257.20 was donated to The Trevor Project this month! You can donate to the organization as well by clicking here.
For the month of March we'll be donating 20% of card sales to our local animal shelters in memory of our own little shelter dog, Dobby. Stay tuned for more information.
